Yates County Office of Emergency Management in coordination with the Village of Penn Yan and Town of Jerusalem are making available dumpsters for flood damaged household debris caused by the recent flooding such as furniture, clothing, carpeting, etc. This is not for trash that is non-flood related.
- The Penn Yan Village will have dumpsters available at Powell Lane on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am- 4 pm and Monday through Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm.
- Town of Jerusalem has dumpsters located at the Branchport Fire Station by the Pavilion.
White goods such as refrigerators, washing machines or other metal items can be taken to B&B Recycling, 3898 Tinney Rd during normal business hours 8am – 3:30pm.
In the Village of Penn Yan, trees, branches, and woody debris can be put by the street as you would for Spring Clean Up and the Village will pick it up.
