Directions to get to Penn Yan Public Library:
From the north:
Via NYS Route 14A: turn left at the first set of lights as you come into the village of Penn Yan (near S&S Hospital) at the Intersection of Route 14A (Liberty Street), North Aveune and Route 364. Take the first right onto Main Street. Stay on Main Street. The Library is on the right before the business district.
Via NYS Route 14: turn right onto NYS Route 54. NYS Route 54 becomes Clinton Street as it enters the village. Continue on this road to the ‘T’ intersection at Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street. You will see the Library on your left just after you make this turn.
From the south:
Via NYS Route 54: NYS Route 54 becomes Lake Street as you enter the village of Penn Yan. Stay on this road until it intersects with Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and continue through two sets of traffic lights. The Library is on the left just past the flashing amber light.
Via NYS Route 54A: NYS Route 54A becomes Elm Street in the village. Follow this road until it intersects with Main Street. Turn left on Main Street. The library is on the left, just past the flashing amber light.
Via public transit
The closest public transit stop to Penn Yan Public Library is at the Yates County Building. From the main entrance of the County Building, walk south through the county parking lot to get to the library.
