Join us for an educational presentation for homeowners who want to know what it means for them to go solar. Many are curious, but don’t understand how solar works or what kind of government programs exist to help them. Broadly, this program will educate homeowners about what equipment is used and how it works, what factors will make a switch to solar easier or more difficult, the incentives offered by the state and federal governments, how a solar power system gets designed, and why it is beneficial to stay connected to the grid. There will be ample opportunity for questions too!

This program is educational only. There will be no effort to sell products, but the presenter will offer opportunity for individual consultations after the program, for those who would like information specific to their home. Presented by Meg McLean of McLean Power, a solar consultant who provides individual informational sessions as well as group presentations to homeowners who want to understand what’s involved with putting a solar power system in their home.
