Exploring Global Rights Documents

July 15, 2022 @ 11:00 am - July 16, 2022 @ 1:00 pm

Join us as we start this program anew, in person, on your own schedule! Delve deeper into the history of the global progress towards human rights in this ongoing program. Each session, quietly hand-write portions of key rights-affirming documents from around the world and across time. Reflect on each selection’s place in history and the ways it has impacted our collective progress. This month, examine the Kourokan Fouga, the 13th-century constitution of the Mali Empire in Africa. All supplies provided for these drop-in sessions; participate whenever and for however long you are able during the program’s hours. Inspired by artist Morgan O’Hara’s Handwriting the Constitution project.
