In this new series, Penn Yan Public Library invites the public to step out of their comfort zones and get to know people who may be different from them.  We believe that highlighting people of diverse identities strengthens our community by fostering tolerance, understanding, and empathy between people from different backgrounds.  For this session, we welcome Andrew Moran, an LGBTQ+ community organizer based in Rochester.  We invite participants to listen to some select podcast episodes ahead of the session to orient themselves to our guest and the themes he’ll be touching on; then at this session, Andrew will present on his advocacy work for the LGBTQ+ community in our region; and finally, we’ll have time for respectful dialogue.  Please register here to receive links to the podcast and to attend: https://tinyurl.com/56ktpzuh
