Penn Yan Yan Public Library is pleased to welcome author Cynthia Neale to discuss the research and writing of her recent historical fiction novel, Catharine, Queen of the Tumbling Waters.  “Catharine is a compelling and powerful true story that spans the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. As American exceptionalism prevails against the recognition of indigenous peoples, Queen Catharine’s story enlightens, entertains, and makes visible the unwritten truths of early American history.”  Almost as well known for her baking as her writing, Cynthia will be treating the audience to delicious homemade scones.  A lifelong writer and native of the Finger Lakes, Cynthia now resides in New Hampshire.  All are welcome to join us in discussing her fascinating work.
