Every other month, local artist Jeannette McDunnah will guide us through a new art project. This session, practice the art of encaustic photo transfer: we’ll begin with a brief history of encaustic painting and safety precautions, then learn how to prepare a wood panel to complete the photo transfer, and finally transfer some images, resulting in a visually unique print. There will be some stock photos available to transfer, but if you would like to use your own photo, please email it to aandrasik@pypl.stls.org by November 16th and the library will be sure to have it printed and ready for you.
