Throughout the month of September, PYPL has been running an “enhanced reality” scavenger hunt based on the dystopian novel 1984. Starting in the library and branching out into the community, the goal of the hunt is to illustrate the real-life impacts of book bans and challenges on real people – often people that we know and love.  If you’ve been searching for the clues, you’ve already discovered the date and time of this special capstone event – but now we’d like to invite the rest of the community to join us in reflecting together on this critical issue.  Those who completed the scavenger hunt will be eligible for a special prize drawing!
