Dundee author Mary Rosenberger grew up in Freedom Village USA, which claimed to be a Christian home for troubled teens on Seneca Lake. Through its atmosphere of fear and controlling leader, Mary suffered spiritual abuse and came to see Freedom Village for what it was: a religious cult, though full of well-meaning followers.
